At Gulf Gate Church, you'll find casual dress and a laid-back atmosphere. However, don't let the casual style and atmosphere fool you. We take God and our faith (and our coffee) very seriously. We want our guests and our members to experience and enjoy fellowship and worship in a new, natural way! When you arrive, hosts will offer you coffee, water, or juice to take into the service. You'll sit at tables where you can enjoy your drink while watching dramas and multi-media presentations. You'll hear encouraging messages for everyday life and be inspired by a band of talented musicians leading you in high energy praise as well as reflective songs. GGC is real people integrating real faith in their real lives.
We offer services every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Gulf Gate Elementary School, which is located directly across the street from our church campus at 6501 S. Lockwood Ridge Road in Sarasota.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. People wear everything from business casual to shorts and sandals. Feel free to leave the tie and formal dress at home.
What about my children?
While you are enjoying an exciting worship service, your children are being inspired by lessons, music and activities led by loving, responsible, trustworthy and capable individuals. Nursery for birth - 3 yrs (not potty trained) is also available during the service. Care is provided by nurturing and responsible individuals.
